Celebrating 20 Years of YLNI
Creating this mini feature for the 20 year anniversary of Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana felt especially meaningful. YLNI has played a powerful role in shaping young professionals across the region, and its story began with a small group of individuals who believed in strengthening community, elevating voices, and creating opportunities for emerging leaders. This project highlights those early moments, the spark behind the organization’s founding, and the passion that carried it forward.
The feature also reflects on how far YLNI has come. Over two decades, the organization has grown from a grassroots idea into a vibrant network that influences economic development, civic engagement, and cultural vitality throughout Northeast Indiana. Through interviews, archival moments, and present-day perspectives, the video captures not only the milestones but also the people who made them possible.
This project carried a personal connection as well. Being actively involved with YLNI’s board has given EvMo a front row seat to the energy and optimism that drive the organization. Helping tell this story felt like both an honor and a contribution to a community that has given so much in return. The future of YLNI is bright, and sharing its journey through thoughtful storytelling was a reminder of how powerful collaboration and shared vision can be.
